At a special screening of Beasts of the Southern Wild last month at LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art), co-composers Dan Romer and Benh Zeitlin performed a piece from the BOTSW soundtrack live for the first time. Lucky for us, it was captured on camera for all to enjoy.
This moving performance captures the Beasts score in a way we have never before experienced and we hope it will do the same for you. Thank you to all the wonderful musicians who accompanied Dan and Benh that evening!
The Beasts of the Southern Wild soundtrack is now available on Vinyl, CD, Itunes and Spotify.

I cannot make it through this song without crying. Shit. How truly fucking beautiful it is. Goddammit there is so much hope in this. My heart truly beats the fucking kettle drum, sets the fires to glow because of this. I hold onto this ground of mine. I will love it, trembling. Those horns. Everything is bright. Everything is so unbelievably fucking bright.
I am writing a film script and I listen to it every day – it inspires me. I dream they will write the sound track for my film
This tune has inspired me, motivated me and reminded me never to give up on my dreams!!!!
