On Saturday, August 4th, we hosted a live Q&A with BOTSW Director Benh Zeitlin. Benh fielded questions submitted by Facebook and Twitter fans of the film, giving an intimate look at the film’s language, character, history and his living room.

I think something most people miss is that they wanted to preserve their unique culture and home place and how brave and honorable they are.
Please publish the screenplay and make a Blu-Ray with special features showing you, Lucy, Nathan “son of Baya”, Quvenzhane Wallis, Dwight Henry, the pigs, and everything else you possibly can.

Incredible film and brilliant portrayal of the human condition…….I so appreciate this Q&A which allowed a window into the many influences — not only which shaped this masterpiece — but which apparently are essential to your own creative makeup. I look forward to more chances to be in a dark theater with those influences!!!
